Refund & Cancellation Policy

The Duke’s Infant and Child Foundation (TDICF)

The Duke’s Infant and Child Foundation (TDICF) is committed to transparency, accountability, and integrity in all financial transactions conducted through our website, programmes, projects, campaigns, events, and initiatives.

Donations

All donations made to The Duke’s Infant and Child Foundation (TDICF) in support of its impact projects, programmes, advocacy initiatives, and interventions focused on securing a brighter future for children and strengthening the ecosystem that nurtures, shapes, and equips the next generation are considered voluntary contributions.

Such contributions support the Foundation’s wide range of initiatives, including but not limited to capacity-building programmes for educators, parents, caregivers, trainers, community leaders, policymakers, and child-focused institutions; national advocacy campaigns; research and policy development; leadership and mentorship programmes; community interventions; and flagship initiatives such as the Train The Trainers Summit (TTTS), which seeks to equip those who influence, educate, mentor, and shape the lives of children and young people across communities.

These donations help advance The Duke’s Infant and Child Foundation’s mission of building a stronger ecosystem for children, empowering the stakeholders who shape their development, and creating sustainable pathways for a brighter and more impactful future for the Generation Next.

As a non-profit organization, donations received are generally non-refundable. However, where a donation has been made in error, duplicated unintentionally, or an incorrect amount has been charged, the donor may submit a written refund request within seven (7) days of the transaction. Such requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and approved where appropriate.

Events, Training Programmes, Conferences, and Registrations

Where registration fees, participation fees, training fees, conference fees, summit fees, or similar charges apply:

  • Cancellation requests received at least fourteen (14) days before the scheduled event may qualify for a partial refund, subject to administrative and processing costs.
  • Cancellation requests received less than fourteen (14) days before the scheduled event may not qualify for a refund.
  • Registered participants may request to transfer their registration to another eligible participant, subject to approval by The Duke’s Infant and Child Foundation (TDICF).
  • If The Duke’s Infant and Child Foundation (TDICF) cancels an event, programme, training, conference, summit, or activity, affected participants may be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to a future event.

The Duke’s Infant and Child Foundation (TDICF) reserves the right to modify programme schedules, speakers, facilitators, venues, dates, content, delivery formats, or programme structure where necessary to ensure quality service delivery and the achievement of programme objectives.
